Google Docs Added New Features With Students In Mind
Google added a new feature to its Google Apps specifically for its docs.It added a new feature by name Equation,so that students can solve math or chemistry related problems within a document itself.Its also has the ability to insert scripts which can be useful for algebraic expressions.You can take notes in class or answer questions.
A new option is added in Google Forms,you can conduct surveys using Go to page based on answer option.You can show participants only those questions that are relevant to them.
As Google is adding more features to their online Google Apps,Microsoft finally provided online option for their software.The online version of Microsoft is known as Office Web Apps which includes word,power point and excel for free.As still this is in initial stage,make a backup if you plan to use this free online version.You need a Windows Live Account and once you have,you can access from SkyDrive.SkyDrive is a free service from Microsoft which offers 25GB of free storage space.
